The team behind Capacitor.

Capacitor is built by Kurrent — the company behind KurrentDB, the event-native data platform formerly known as Event Store.

For over a decade, Kurrent has helped engineering teams across finance, healthcare, retail, and government store data as an immutable stream of events: a complete, replayable history of what changed, why, and in what order. We call it context in action — better decisions from high-fidelity, complete information, instead of a database that quietly overwrites its own past.

Capacitor applies that same idea to coding agents. An agent’s work is a stream of decisions — what it tried, what a teammate rejected, what finally passed and why. Capacitor records the session as an event stream, so your team can replay it, review it, and build on it instead of losing it.
