Terms of Service · Last updated 27 June 2026
These Terms govern your access to and use of Capacitor. By creating a workspace or otherwise using Capacitor, you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company or team, you confirm you are authorised to bind them. We have tried to write this in plain English.
Capacitor is operated by Kurrent, Inc. (“Kurrent”, “we”, “us”). These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, form the agreement between you and Kurrent for your use of Capacitor.
Capacitor records coding-agent sessions as an event stream so teams can replay, audit, and discuss what their agents did. We may add, change, or remove features over time, and may occasionally need to suspend the service for maintenance.
You sign in through our authentication provider. Keep your credentials secure and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account and, if you administer a workspace, for your team members’ use of it. You must be old enough to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction.
Capacitor offers Free, Team (with a free trial), and Enterprise plans. Paid plans are billed at the fees and on the cycle shown when you sign up, or as set out in an order with us. A free trial converts to a paid plan or expires as described at signup; fees are exclusive of taxes. We may change pricing prospectively with reasonable notice, and plan limits (such as seats) apply as described on the pricing page.
You agree not to:
We may suspend or limit accounts that breach these Terms or that risk harm to the service or to others.
You keep all rights to the content you capture in Capacitor (“Your Content”). You grant Kurrent only the limited licence needed to host, store, and process Your Content in order to provide and secure the service for you. We do not use Your Content for any other purpose — we do not mine it, sell or share it, or use it to train AI models; see the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for Your Content and for having the rights to it.
Capacitor — including its software, design, and trademarks — belongs to Kurrent and its licensors. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service; they transfer no ownership to you.
Capacitor works alongside third-party tools such as coding agents, source hosts, and identity providers. Your use of those tools is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Capacitor is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kurrent will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 100.
You may stop using Capacitor and delete your workspace at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or where needed to comply with the law. When access ends, your right to use the service stops; where practical we will make Your Content available for export for a reasonable period, then delete it as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will give notice on the site or by email and update the date above. Continuing to use Capacitor after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located in Delaware will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute that is not otherwise resolved.
